Tasks
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that bids are competitive, comprehensive, and aligned with project requirements. -Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine scope of work. -Track project costs and assist with change order pricing when needed. -Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. -Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value-engineering options. -Develop accurate cost estimates for proposals, bids, and budgets. -Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment. -Prepare bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings. -Collaborate with project management and procurement to refine project budgets. -Maintain cost databases, historical data, and unit pricing.

What You Bring
-Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial, residential, or civil). -Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, ProEst, Sage, or similar). -Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. -Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. -Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
