Tasks

-Assist with other project related tasks such as permit applications, material testing, and CAD work. -Acquire knowledge and develop basic skills in Telecommunications. -Identify basic off-the-shelf components for site design and antenna mount upgrades. -Attend site visits with senior staff members. -Apply learned techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks. -Develop an understanding of basic Telecom in site design (antenna types, wiring diagrams, RFDS sheets, equipment types, etc.). -Design/draft basic zoning & construction drawings (modification sites, co-location sites, etc.) with parameters provided. -Review zoning ordinances and regulations to determine applicable requirements. -Design/draft lease exhibits with parameters provided. -Conduct as-built site audits. -Prepare low-level complexity general engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy. -Work within RISA 3D, TNX Tower and AutoCAD Civil 3D to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. -Develop an understanding of applicable building codes and design standards (ANSI/TIA, AISC, ACI, NEC, NESC, etc.). -Exercise judgment on details of work and work under direct supervision on all aspects of tasks assigned. -Perform structural analysis and modification design of telecommunication infrastructure (mounts, towers, equipment platforms, etc.) including generating accurate analysis models and CAD drawings under the supervision of engineers.

What You Bring

-Experience with RISA 3D is a plus. -Ability to travel to project sites as needed. -Experience with Civil 3D is a plus. -Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related field. -Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. -Demonstrate the ability to work independently and proactively utilize provided resources and support. -Requires a pre-employment drug screen. -Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
