Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for various well design options.
Regulatory Compliance: Design wells to meet all regulatory requirements.
Engineering Planning: Responsible for the planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up for safe and efficient drilling programs.
Rig Site Surveillance: Provide drilling and completion surveillance and engineering assessments at rig sites.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with geology, reservoir, and project teams to meet well objectives.
Equipment Organization: Identify and organize necessary equipment for executing the drilling plan.
Collaboration: Interface with operations personnel to ensure feasibility of well plans.
Well Planning: Utilize wellbore geologic and reservoir objectives to develop comprehensive well plans.
Technical Bids: Prepare and analyze technical bids for goods and services.
Hazard Analysis: Research and understand drill well hazards by reviewing historical offset well information.
Daily Operations Survey: Conduct surveys of daily operations to ensure adherence to plans.
Technical Assistance: Offer surveillance and technical support for projects, equipment testing, and new procedures.

Degree: B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Fluency in English: Read, write, and speak fluent English.
Deep Water Drilling: Experience in deep water drilling operations.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively organize and communicate technical information.
Experience: Industry experience with well planning and execution.
Well Design Software: Proficient in well design software and Microsoft applications.
