Apartment Mechanic

Overview

Assist critical facility tech in monitoring & maintaining building and mission‑critical systems.

Tasks

-Ensure inventory is stored properly for inventory type (ex: sensitive electronics are temperature controlled) -Assist with the daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of customer facilities in support of data center(s) and office operations -Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment -Assist with scheduling of preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services -Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rule and safety procedures -Ensure Critical Facilities Technician, Contract Manager and/or Customer receive timely verbal and written operating reports regarding critical systems and ongoing preventative maintenance -Perform physical counts of inventory on job sites and at facilities -Assist the Critical Facility Technician with testing and making rounds -Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns -Operate standard office equipment using basic computer skills -Escort subcontractors as required -Communicate and adhere to applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations

What You Bring

-Must possess journeyman HVAC license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed -Three (3) years prior experience required as an HVAC technician -Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license -Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for daily communication and reports -Must be 18 years of age or older -two (2) years' experience as mechanic in commercial/Housing setting is preferred.
