Tasks

-Participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles -Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes -Operate picker truck for hoisting and lifting devices -Clamping and structural support of pipe systems -Read and interpret welding process specifications. -Ensure all welding equipment is clean and functional -This position may be required to direct, coach and mentor Junior B Welders -Assist with installing pressure vessels and piping systems

What You Bring

-Picker truck operators license with the ability and willingness to drive long distances -Experience in vessel or process pipe, preferably with natural gas compressor packages -Possess excellent communication, organizational and people skills -Experience working on new and used piping systems -Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol test -Hold a valid B Pressure Welder Certificate and must pass a shop “B” Pressure weld test -Able to work collaboratively with variety of Tradesmen -Ability to work overtime or shift work -Ability to travel and work extended shift rotations in the field -Minimum 3 years directly related field service work experience
