Overview

Manages gas purchasing, supply planning, hedging, and RFP processes for NE region.

Tasks

-Attends meetings and performs critical analysis on pricing and strategy -Notifies winning bidders as well as subsequent bidders of the final results. -Issues RFPs for LDC's and monitors the process from solicitation to signed contract. -Maintains daily balance between natural gas deliveries and consumption for legal entities -Ensures transaction confirmation between parties are in compliance with company goals. Works closely with Legal and Treasury group as well as Energy Procurement department to ensure all contractual requirements are met. -Works closely with Gas Control forecasting to ensure adequate supply of gas each day -Interacts with several external groups to ensure Liberty is recognized as a leader in the Natural Gas industry.

What You Bring

-Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment -Proficient in Microsoft Office required. -5 years’ experience in the natural gas industry or similar experience with demonstrated ability to proactively identify and solve problems; strong analytical, oral, and written communications skills required. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent -Executes hedging program
