Tasks

-Facilitate procurement team meetings and communicate legal updates and best practices. -Resolve complex contractual disputes and claims in coordination with project teams and legal counsel. -Maintain vendor relationships and lead supplier-specific contract negotiations. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Lead or support negotiations for high-risk, high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with project and corporate objectives. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Interpret and implement Prime contract flow-down requirements across EPC projects. -Serve as the primary procurement liaison to Legal, Risk, and Tax departments for contract reviews and escalations. -Ensure consistency in procurement practices across markets and projects. -Conduct annual reviews of procurement templates and update in line with legal and regulatory changes. -Develop and maintain standardized procurement templates and tools in collaboration with Legal and Contracts teams. -Provide training and mentorship to Procurement Managers on contract negotiation, risk assessment, and terms & conditions.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of U.S. civil and common law, with preference for familiarity with state-specific Prompt Payment Acts and lien legislation applicable to construction projects. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience. -Minimum 8 years of experience in contract negotiation and procurement within EPC or construction environments. -Regular, reliable attendance -Legal training (JD or experienced paralegal) preferred. -Strong leadership and coaching capabilities. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Advanced skills in risk evaluation, claims mitigation, and dispute resolution. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skills.
