The Role

Overview

Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm/electrical systems, supervising a team.

Tasks

-Supervise and mentor junior electricians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. -Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions to resolve electrical problems. -Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure the timely completion of projects. -Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. -Lead and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. -Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards and cost-efficiency. -Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to prevent accidents and injuries. -Maintain and update project documentation, including electrical schematics, blueprints, and work orders.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. -High quality company swag and attire (t-shirts, hoodies, jackets) at least twice a year -Strong communication and leadership skills. -Experience in managing electrical projects and supervising a team of electricians. -Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety gear. -Proven experience (typically 5+ years) working as a journeyman or master electrician. -Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (indoors, outdoors, heights, etc.). -Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Freedom to express ideas - a culture of willingness to test, try, modify, adopt, enhance, improve and change as needed
