Tasks

-Contribute to effective risk management, supplier performance management, and resolution of contractual disputes. -Support the Procurement Director in developing and executing procurement strategies for a large-scale greenfield pharmaceutical project. -Ensure procurement practices meet all regulatory, EHS, and corporate compliance standards. -Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including EPCM/CM contractors, engineering consultants, and major equipment suppliers. -Partner closely with the Procurement Director and cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop, and execute capital procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and corporate governance. -Manage high-value contract negotiations and ensure commercial and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. -Oversee supplier selection, qualification, and performance management. -Lead end-to-end procurement activities for high-value equipment, with a focus on process equipment in a regulated environment. -Oversee and manage procurement processes in SAP and Coupa, ensuring timely vendor onboarding, issuance of POs and reporting.

What You Bring

-Proficient in SAP, Coupa, Ariba P2P, Sourcing to Contract and Contracting modules. -Demonstrated leadership in managing complex vendor relationships and capital contract execution. -Experience managing high-value contracts (US$20M or above). -Ability to thrive in a matrixed, multicultural, and fast-paced project environment. -Proven experience supporting major pharmaceutical capital projects, preferably within a multinational environment -Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience, including at least 5 years in capital project procurement -Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favourable outcomes -Proven track records on low-cost country sourcing from China and other Asian countries -Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving. -Deep understanding of process equipment procurement, with preference for pharma-grade equipment and systems -Strong exposure to global project teams and working effectively across time zones with colleagues and vendors internationally -Familiarity with various project delivery models including EPCM, Construction Management (CM), and Construction Management at Risk (CMaR). -High degree of resilience, results orientation, and ability to work in high-pressure environments with competing priorities -Drive cost efficiencies and ensure value for money through strong negotiation skills and strategic sourcing. -Intensive experience in managing the entire process equipment purchase cycle from specification development, pre-qualification, selection, expediting, customs clearance, FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up
