Lead and conduct asbestos, lead, mold, IAQ, and industrial hygiene investigations.

Tasks

-Analyze laboratory data -Lead and Participate in Asbestos, Mold, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene Surveys -Prepare draft reports for review by senior management -Preparation and Delivery of Technical Reports -Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy -Conduct tasks related to project monitoring, asbestos/lead inspections, indoor air quality (IAQ)/mold assessments, and/or other project assignments as appropriate -Promote a positive client experience -Phase Contrast Microscopy Sample Analysis -Maintain consistent communication of project progress with senior management from start to finish of the project

What You Bring

-Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work -Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history -Not required (will train) but preferred: Certification as asbestos and or lead inspector, NIOSH 582 certification, mold certification or IH experience -Florida Certified Radon Measurement Technician or Specialist. -Willingness for regional travel for business -Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other field personal and management -Ability to wear a respirator -Ability to pass a background check for Federal and school facilities -Physical ability to carry equipment up to 35 pounds, climb ladders, get in and out of basements and attic spaces, etc. -Attention to detail and problem-solving skills -Florida Licensed Mold Assessor. -Ability to work at state and governmental facilities -Ability to work in moldy/dusty environments (proper PPE provided) -Periodic out-of-area travel for projects including some stays up to a week -Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of technical reports -Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) -Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant (LAC) -Ability to study and pass various certification programs -Business awareness: specific knowledge of the customer and how Terracon can bring value to the marketplace -AHERA-Certified Asbestos Building Management Planner and Project Designer. -Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment -Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision -Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field, Minimum 5-7 years’ experience
