Tasks

-Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction -Implement the project quality management plan (QMP) -Oversee electrical load calculations -Complete the project within the budget and schedule -Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications -Provide opinions of probable construction costs -Provide updates to master specifications; provide input into standards -Perform site visits and issues reports -Engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power -Provide engineering direction and guidance for the project team -Develop the ability to assemble and run a team -Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection

What You Bring

-Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts -Strong delegation skills -Relevant Professional Credential (i.e., PE) preferred -Knowledge and application of the NEC and relevant building and energy codes -Application of electrical distribution, lighting and power systems design -Requires a minimum 3-5 years of Electrical engineering or 4-6 years’ related work experience -Effective written and verbal communication skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline work -Thorough understanding of project phases and their associated deliverables -Knowledge of other disciplines and direct¬ interdisciplinary coordination -Able to effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group -Apply knowledge of building codes and electrical industry standards
