Tasks
-Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work. -Prepares increasingly complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. -Develop design change packages for operating nuclear plant facilities, and deliver solutions for a more sustainable future. -May provide direction and guidance to others. -Coordinates with project leadership and other internal/external team members on less complex projects. Interacts as needed with other disciplines on details of design work. -Continues to learn and remains current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies and procedures. -Works to understand external client's interest and drivers through regular interaction and communication. Also focuses on needs of internal clients and project leadership. -Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. -Develop electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction -Extensively use Microsoft Office business systems such as ProjectWise, electrical engineering software, such as ETAP and Computer Aided Drafting Tools, such as AutoCAD to view and manipulate engineering drawing files -Develop electrical drawing deliverables including: -Complies with BV quality program relative to assigned tasks. -Assigns tasks to develop entry level professionals and interns. -May provide support to business development or pursuit activities. -May recognize, define and resolve problems within assigned area. -Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts. -Prepares a variety of increasingly complex engineering deliverables. -Attend on-site meetings, investigate existing conditions, interface with clients and provide support during construction

-Continues developing and can independently apply knowledge. -Schematics, interconnection diagrams and equipment layouts -Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes. -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or Sciences preferred; or any other degree, specialized training, or experience, that makes the individual uniquely qualified to perform the job responsibilities. -Electrical motor schematics, breaker control schematics and wiring diagrams -Minimum of 1 year of related work experience. -Nuclear Power Plant Facility Design experience, or infrastructure power distribution design experience for similar power generating facilities (i.e. Power Plants, Industrial Plants, Manufacturing Plants -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Complex engineering calculations such as: load flow, short circuit, motor starting (ETAP or SKM), Arc flash analysis (ETAP or SKM), protective relay settings, battery and charger sizing -Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
