Tasks
-Lead and support the mechanical design effort on converting and packaging line projects. -Coach and mentor other engineers and designers is expected. -Provide startup support and troubleshooting on installed systems. -Execute capital projects within scopes, costs, and schedules. -Work as part of a collaborative project team. -Solicit and review equipment bids. -Work in a manufacturing environment gathering field data and conducting field investigations, when required for project work. -Perform QAQC of design packages. -Develop concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated cost for engineering proposals. -Lead design reviews, internally and with client. -Analyzing and designing utilities to support converting systems. -Delegate design work and hold team members accountable. -Interface with clients and vendors on regular basis. -Prepare systems analysis and conceptual designs, layouts, specify equipment, and prepare detailed design packages for bid and installation on converting and packaging projects.

What You Bring
-Conveyor application experience -10+ years of industry-relevant experience in engineering of consumer products. -Simulation software (FlexSim, Plant Simulation) -Travel to other Foth offices or client locations will be regularly required (anticipate 25-35% annually). -Knowledge of Web Handling (unwind, rewind, cutting, printing) – towel and tissue -3D design software. -15+ years of experience with integration systems and systems engineering in consumer towel and tissue products and/or paper converting/packaging systems, to include experience developing system concepts, executing final system designs, and developing written line operations strategies. -Understanding of balanced line flow for converting and packaging systems. -BS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical experience. -Autodesk Navisworks, ReCap
