Tasks

-Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels -Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies -Develop a site logistics plan and lead the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment -Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and manage performance -Develop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules -Recognize and mitigate unfavorable working conditions and seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures -Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team members -Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule -Ensure proper task coding of work hours on timecards, track work progress and craft productivity -Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews; interview, hire, transfer, and dismiss craft team members as needed -Coach and mentor assistant superintendents, craft team members, and other project team members -Collaborate with project partner superintendents -Handle craft team member training and conduct career development discussions -Conduct on-site project orientations, pre-construction planning sessions, and project site meetings -Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability

We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Current driver’s license -Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices -Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
