Overview

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively and professionally with customers on their maintenance and repairs. -Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task -Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on all systems -Order replacement parts and services in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectiveness -Test and verify correct operation of all maintenance repairs and adjustments

What You Bring

-Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry -Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement -Ability to drive and valid CDL license required -Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. -Class A CDL required or ability to obtain CDL within three months of start date -Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads, available for after-hours calls as needed -At this time, Foley does not participate in any Visa sponsorship programs. -General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments -Understand crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred) -Caterpillar experience a plus -Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications -Preferred forklift experience -Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
