Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC electrical systems while ensuring code compliance.

Tasks
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals -Ensure customer satisfaction and confidence by efficiently and effectively servicing products and equipment on assigned projects. -Maintain and inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition, inventory needs, scheduling and completing repairs and routine maintenance service. -Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. -Maintain project expenses through planned course of action -Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control and wiring with strong electrical theory and codes. -Keeping appropriate records by completing the necessary paperwork for each job and working with the Service Coordinator to maintain accurate and updated files. -Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes -Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. -Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

-Excellent problem-solving skills -In order to properly perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear and use hands/fingers in order to grasp/handle/feel. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb up and down ladders and/or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. -Valid driver's license and ability to meet auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle. -Lifting/Carrying 11-50 lbs.: Frequently -HVAC License preferred/ not required -Knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, safety regulations, and safety practices -Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. -Reaching Above Shoulder: Frequently -Squatting/Kneeling: Frequently -Lifting/Carrying 51-75 lbs.: Occasionally -Handling/Fingering: Frequently -Reaching Outward: Frequently -5+ years of experience electrical service and troubleshooting -Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted. -Knowledge of mechanical systems -Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the trade. -Successfully complete a background check and drug screen. -Electrician's License required -Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills. -Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less: Frequently -Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less: Frequently -Eligible to legally work in the United States. -This position requires frequent working outdoors, inside mechanical/equipment rooms, regularly being exposed to extreme inside/outside weather conditions to include extreme hot and/or extreme cold. This position is regularly exposed to live voltage, moving mechanical parts, and heavy equipment. Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, elevated and/or precarious workplaces, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibration. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
