Tasks

-Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities -Inspect floors regularly for damage (e.g., cracks, chips) and report necessary repairs. -Maintain and clean floor care equipment to ensure proper functioning. -Ensure proper safety precautions are followed when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. -May handle stripping and refinishing floors in areas with high traffic or wear. -Operate floor-cleaning machines (e.g., buffers, scrubbers, waxers, and vacuums). -Remove stains and dirt from carpets and other flooring materials. -Strip old wax or polish and reapply new layers. -Clean and disinfect hard surface floors (tile, wood, linoleum, etc.). -Ensuring floors are properly cleaned and maintained. -Perform deep cleaning for special events or seasonal maintenance. -Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures -Report any major issues or repairs to supervisors. -Place safety signs to warn others of wet or slippery floors. -Clean and maintain buildings/facilities -Document cleaning and maintenance activities. -Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors to maintain cleanliness. -Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. -Apply floor finishes like wax, polish, or sealants.

What You Bring

-Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work, especially with floor care equipment. -2 years of similar work experience -Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning products and equipment. -Buff floors using specialized machines to maintain shine and cleanliness. -Customer service experience -Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment or materials. -Ability to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule -Familiarity with floor-cleaning equipment like buffers, polishers, and vacuums. -Vacuum carpets and rugs.
