Overview

Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation systems as a Master Field Engineer.

Tasks

-Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects. -Offer effective solutions for complex system issues. -Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer. -Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system. -Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports. -Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on all field tools and technology. -Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. -Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology. -Responsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software. -Serve as local contact for technical issues.

What You Bring

-Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. -Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems. -Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insurable by the company’s insurance. -Expert with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology. -Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications. -Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs. -Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls. -Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. -6+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field. -Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines. -High School Diploma or GED. -Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
