Assist in highway design, alignment, estimates, and coordination for Qatar projects

Tasks

-Provide support for other engineering activities as required. -Managing Associate Engineers in completing project deliverables. -Assists the senior staff in completing the project deliverables. -Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. -Perform quantity calculations project estimates. -Coordinate with project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel. -Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and super elevation diagrams. -Develop details to construction, detour, signing & marking.

What You Bring

-A thorough working knowledge of AASHTO design guidelines is required. -Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal and have experience in composing correspondence related to his responsibilities. -Must be MME certified or eligible. -The Engineer at this level is proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices and Company procedure. Some assignments involve CAE(computer aided engineering)/CAD(computer aided design) applications. -Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the field of highway and roadway design using Autodesk Civil3D, Microstation and GeoPak design software. Fresh graduates are also open to apply. -Roadway & Highway design experience in Qatar projects.
