Tasks
-Lead Technical Tests: Perform code and architecture reviews and lead software testing. You will approve test plans proposed by the vendors and supervise the testing process. -Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to government IT governance, frameworks, and contractual obligations. -Support Agile Software Development: Define and drive agile best practices with the vendor, bridging communication between designers, architects, and the vendors. -Procurement & Contract Management: Manage the contracting process, from drafting requirements to award and variation orders in compliance with procurement rules. -Track Deliverables & Milestones: Maintain clear project timelines, monitor deliverables, ensure project documentation is maintained and proactively address risks to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery. -Manage Vendor Delivery: Work closely with external vendors, ensuring their work aligns with requirements, deadlines, and quality standards set by internal tech teams.

What You Bring
-Highly organised and detail-oriented and can deftly manage multiple asks and workstreams while keeping projects on track. -You must be able to code and can review software products. Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as DevOps and testing practices is a definite advantage. -Strong understanding in the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies for delivering enterprise-grade software. ITIL and Scrum certifications are a plus. -Prior experience managing government procurement, including contract management, change management, and compliance with public sector regulations. -At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within government or regulated industries. -Knowledge in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical background. -Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, engineers, and the product leadership.
