-Lead the development and implementation of energy transition strategies for clients with energy, industrial, public, institutional and municipal infrastructures. -Contribute to the development of new service offerings, tools and methodologies to stimulate innovation -Carry out data analysis and reporting to facilitate customer decision-making -Carry out techno-economic analyses and energy feasibility studies to support clients’ decision-making in their decarbonization (electrification, renewable natural gas, storage, energy efficiency, etc.) and resilience strategies. -Lead the support offer towards ISO 50001 compliance, in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. -Lead workshops with stakeholders -Prepare documents and presentations to show project progress, results and recommendations. -Position CIMA+ upstream to lead various energy transition projects, often of large strategic scope. -Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying opportunities in close collaboration with the firm’s leaders (market leaders and customer account managers), participating in events (conferences, presentations, etc.) and drafting service offers.
-Ability to lead strategic consulting projects, sometimes multi-sectoral, with multiple stakeholders (e.g., clients, government entities, suppliers, communities, etc.). -Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and oral. Fluency in French will be considered an asset. -Solid knowledge of corporate energy transition, covering a variety of energy sources (renewable natural gas, biogas, solar, etc.) and their complementarity, as well as a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework, available subsidies, technological innovations and current trends. -Certification such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), ISO 50001 or other relevant accreditation (an asset). -Strategy development, analytical thinking, and proposal of adapted solutions and innovations in energy transition. -Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in energy transition projects, energy policy development or implementation, energy modelling or renewable energy deployment for companies. -Effective management of strategic consulting projects (interdisciplinary coordination, ability to influence, clear communications, etc.). -University degree in engineering (energy field), environment, economics or related field. A master’s degree will be considered an asset.
