Tasks

-Drive a strong safety culture and operational performance through leadership and communication. -Forecast production and maintenance needs while overseeing fixed plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, screeners, etc.). -Manage budgets, staffing, inventory, and capital forecasting. -Build and mentor a high-performing team - developing future leaders within the organization. -Develop and execute production and maintenance plans to achieve company goals. -Lead daily operations across multiple surface aggregate sites with full P&L responsibility. -Collaborate with divisional and site leadership teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Our client is a leading supplier of aggregates is seeking an experienced Area Aggregates Manager to join their Northeast Division. This leadership role oversees multiple surface aggregate production facilities - driving safety, operational excellence, and profitability across our regional operations. -Proven ability to lead multiple sites and large teams effectively. -Strong understanding of surface mining, plant operations, and maintenance planning. -Experience with MSHA -Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Willingness to travel within assigned area and work extended hours as needed. -Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Mining, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience. -5–10+ years of progressive experience in aggregates or heavy materials production.
