The Role

Overview

Manage leasing, marketing, tenant screening, and resident relations for Toronto House.

Tasks

-Contributes to the development and execution of the marketing and leasing budget. -Collaborate with Operations to ensure available suites are in lease ready condition, including vacant suite inspection and reporting deficiencies. -Ensure timely and accurate completion of entry of all lease documentation, including application forms, Tenancy Agreements, and other supporting documentation. -Perform the overall leasing and marketing functions, including assist with developing and executing the leasing strategies (including promotions, rental rates and other initiatives) to drive revenue and successful lease up of the residential component. -Perform leasing tours to showcase available suites and property amenities to prospective residents in accordance with Allied’s standards. -Maintain knowledge and understanding of the local market and competitor buildings and their offerings. -Assist with monitoring and achieving established metrics such as occupancy and lease velocity. -Support initiatives to develop partnership with local businesses that may enhance resident experience or increase traffic to the property -Screen prospective tenants to ensure they meet requirements, including performing background and credit checks. -Contribute to resident retention events and activities at the asset with the objective of developing and enhancing relationships with residents. -Draft leases in accordance with our standards and government regulations. -Respond to leasing inquiries, securing appointments to view the property and update/record activity in Yardi. -Collaborate with property management to coordinate Allied’s resident onboarding activities (suites delivered on time, complete move-in inspections and orientation of new home with residents). -Prepare and explain lease agreements to prospective tenants, negotiate terms, and ensure all legal requirements are met.

What You Bring

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and carry out multiple responsibilities simultaneously. -Hospitality, Sales and Property Management experience. -Extensive knowledge of RTA. -Advanced knowledge of marketing and social media platforms and practices. -Knowledge of surrounding neighbourhoods and competing properties. -Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. -Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling. -Highly developed written and oral communication skills. -Exceptional interpersonal skills. -Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience. -Strong command of MS Office products, DocuSign, Yardi Voyager, Rent Café and CRM Flex. -Must be able to work evenings/weekends.
