Tasks

We are seeking professionals to be the day-to-day project manager on a range of projects from medium size to complex or high-risk water and infrastructure projects, programmes and frameworks. You will work with client teams and project teams to establish a project brief and the strategy for delivery of the project, while overseeing multidisciplinary design teams’ performance throughout the project lifecycle to deliver high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. You will also lead project meetings and manage internal/external communications, developing and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development.

What You Bring

With an interest in/or actual water sector experience, you will have demonstrable project management experience, either having had a significant role in a large £100m+ capital projects or have acted as lead PM on projects of £20m+ including the design, procurement and construction stages of those projects. You will have successfully coordinated and integrated multiple project delivery disciplines including cost, schedule, health & safety, reporting, quality, risk and planning. Defining an overall schedule of work, review and integrating consultant or contractor scheduling, monitoring process and establishing risk and value management processes. -Familiar with leading and mentoring project teams to ensure successful delivery while developing and maintaining client relationships. -The ability to manage business case development, governance processes and gateway approvals. -A background in managing projects within the water sector throughout various lifecycle stages from definition, through design, construction, commissioning and handover. -Knowledge or Advisory and Consulting disciplines, including bidding, work winning and crossfunctional applications of services and skills. -BSc in relevant discipline and membership of a relevant professional body such as APM, RICS, CIWEM, ICE, RIBA or CIOB with individual chartership or actively progressing towards it.
