Assembly Technician

Overview

Assemble door operators, test, pack, and handle shipping while supporting installation crew.

Tasks

-Assemble doors and complete packing lists -Assist in production or field positions as requested. -Troubleshoot issues with non-functioning operator components -Assemble motors, brakes, control panels, and other operator components -Testing of assembled components to ensure functioning properly -Maintains a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes.

-Scissor Lift -Ability to communicate across departments -High level of attention to detail and organization. -Have prompt and reliable attendance. -Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols. -Excellent time management skills. -Ability to lift 50 lbs. -Must be self-motivated and self-sufficient. -Hand/Power Tools -Electricity 24v-480v 1 phase & 3 phase -Ability to read and interpret job specs. -Common knowledge of hand/power tools and other fabrication equipment -Steel Toe Boots -Have some background in electrical (will train) -Sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills in all situations. -Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane and telehandler
