Tasks

-Perform research to keep abreast of industry practices and participate in industry forums. -Develop advanced analytical tools to solve high-value business problems across AEP. Proficiently utilize analytical tools and data management skills to provide actionable business intelligence. Ensure pertinent data is acquired to solve advanced business problems. -May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team. -Develop concise meaningful written reports and provide oral presentation to business partners and management. Track study progress and provide management with study status reports. -Lead development of scientific studies which measure business value achieved from analytics contributions. -Maintain an ongoing collaborative relationship with business partners. Evaluate business unit partner needs and provide guidance as to the value additional analyses could provide. Collaborate and oversee outsourced studies. -Develop predictive and prescriptive systems to optimize operations and support strategic initiatives. Apply data visualization tools to large data sets to enhance data understanding.

What You Bring

-Skilled in data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy, with a focus on building scalable, production-ready solutions. -Strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and workflow automation, optimizing performance and reducing manual effort across analytics pipelines. -Two (2) years of relevant work experience is required. -Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required. -Bachelors degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, data science, computer science or related technical field is required. -Proven ability to collaborate across teams, including engineering, product, and business units, to align analytics efforts with organizational goals. -Experienced in creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and IBM Cognos Analytics, enabling effective communication of insights to stakeholders. -Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field preferred -Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with a track record of translating complex data into strategic recommendations. -Eight(8) years of experience required. -An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. -Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and R, with hands-on experience in developing, validating, and deploying machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
