Tasks

As a senior member of the Site Design group, you will oversee and deliver complex land development projects—helping to shape communities through high-quality, sustainable design. You’ll guide a talented team of engineers and designers, provide technical and operational leadership, and play a key role in driving business development and client engagement. -Contribute to regional and discipline growth planning efforts. -Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and permitting requirements. -Build and maintain relationships with public and private clients throughout the Tampa Bay region. -Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and strategic market initiatives. -Promote a positive, collaborative work environment focused on innovation and quality. -Lead multiple site development projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery. -Stay current with evolving design standards, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies. -Review and guide design work in grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site layout. -Mentor junior engineers and designers to foster technical excellence and career growth.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and leadership skills; proactive and client-focused. -Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office. -Expertise in site grading, stormwater management, and utility design for commercial and municipal projects. -Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required. -15+ years of experience in site civil or municipal engineering. -Strong familiarity with Florida zoning, land development codes, and permitting agencies. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
