Tasks

-Assisting senior level bridge engineers with analysis, design, and detailing for bridge and culvert reconstruction projects for State DOT and local government bridge projects -Other responsibilities may include report preparation, field reconnaissance and inspection -Attend conferences and meetings when necessary/required.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College.3 to 5 years of experiencePreferably have their EIT Certificate (or the ability to obtain within 12 months) - PE License is a plus.Experience with DOT projects and their design software is a plus.Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design.Strong communication and organization skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & ExcelDesire to work in a team environment We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in our Richmond, VA office. -Experienced with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Open Bridge Modeler, AASHTOware, and MathCAD is a plus -Ability to analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects under the supervision of Senior level engineers
