The Role

Overview

Lead IT function for VINCI Energies UK & RoI, overseeing strategy, operations and projects

Tasks

-Oversee the support call centre, utilising the group’s ITIL tool and Freshdesk platform. -Oversee platforms including Fortinet and Freshdesk. -Inform Group IT of any specific Pole requirements. -Train users on IT tools and promote best practices. -Maintain and enforce IT security policies and procedures. -Liaise regularly with the international IT team for VINCI Energies (“Group IT” based in Paris). -Promote IT awareness and good practices among UK&RoI IT stakeholder and end users. -Oversee orders and invoices for IT services. -Define and manage local user support in line with ITIL best practices. -Represent the UK&RoI in cross country and group IT projects. -Liaise closely with UK&RoI Information Security Officer -Define and manage local user support resources in accordance with the ITIL approach. -Coordinate local IT activities and advise senior management on IT topics. -Act as the primary communicator for global IT projects and decisions at the board level. -Ensure successful delivery of IT migration and transformation projects. -Manage personnel with IT duties across the business (c.16 people). -Collaborate with Group IT on software and hardware roll-outs. -Manage inventory, logistics, support, and licensing of IT equipment in line with framework agreements. -Relay IT projects to UK&RoI IT stakeholder and manage local IT initiatives, including those related to external growth, relocations, or cessions. -Participate in IT budget monitoring and quarterly forecasting. -Coordinate the implementation of IT standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001.

What You Bring

-Ability to analyse, plan, and deliver IT transformation projects. -Experience managing hardware and software inventories and roll-outs. -Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. -Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar support platforms. -Knowledge of compliance standards and IT security frameworks. -Experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships. -Technical expertise in server and desktop operating systems, cloud platforms (e.g., Office 365), networking (WAN, LAN, WLAN), and security (including Fortinet). -Degree, Masters, or extensive experience in a similar role. -Experience in leading teams of up to 30 people. -Microsoft and Cisco certification or equivalent experience. -Experience with ITIL best practices and service management.
