Overview

Perform on‑site concrete/soil testing and report data for construction projects.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with client and project teams -Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks -Make detailed observations, give limited interpretation, detailed documentation and data from test results -Work utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams -Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, concrete, asphalt or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or equivalent -ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I Certificate -Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound -Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights -WABO Certification -Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time -The ability to read and understand work plans -WAQTC Certs is a PLUS -Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record -Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance -Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures -Ability to work over night hours and off shift -Additional ACI Certifications -Ability to kneel and squat occasionally -1 year construction material testing experience -Basic math, calculator, and computer skills -Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed -Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills
