The Role

Overview

Supervise maintenance team, perform repairs, manage budgets and on‑call for a multifamily property.

Tasks

-Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager -Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority -Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy -Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC -Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system -Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program -Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors

What You Bring

-2+ years’ experience in the maintenance field -Strong HVAC experience, troubleshooting and conversions required -Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process) -HVAC experience required -1+ year experience within the multi-family housing industry required -Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience -Experience managing 1+ employees -High school diploma or equivalent -Experience with light plumbing and electrical work -CPO certification a plus -EPA certification required -Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
