The Role

Overview

Act as business analyst linking Shared Services with IT to improve processes and tech.

Tasks

-Support change management and adoption efforts when new solutions or processes are rolled out. -Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to align business and IT around improvement goals. -Support the evaluation and prioritization of technology initiatives, weighing value, risk, and alignment with strategy. -Document current and future-state business processes using approachable techniques (e.g., process maps, swimlane diagrams, workflows). -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver practical solutions. -Help build business cases by connecting improvement opportunities to KPIs such as productivity, working capital, and margin improvement. -Collaborate effectively on IT scrum teams or cross-functional initiatives to deliver solutions. -Apply big-picture thinking while also diving into detail to uncover process gaps and opportunities. -Provide insight to management on opportunities to leverage technology and improve productivity. -Translate business needs into clear requirements that IT and vendors can act on. -Partner with business stakeholders to identify and analyze challenges, pain points, and improvement opportunities. -Collect and interpret process metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

-Exhibit strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. -The ability to work across multiple business units, acting as a consultant, facilitator, and problem-solver. -Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience. -Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and collaboration skills. -Demonstrate strong skills in facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and capturing/documenting requirements. -Experience with documentation and collaboration tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, or similar). -Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques (certification not required). -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex information. -3–7 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or process improvement roles. -Have proven experience in business analysis or consulting, with a track record of identifying opportunities and delivering process or technology improvements.
