  • Support EMR Policy Leads in advising on and improving delivery of the CM and CfD schemes, including through working with the EMR delivery teams to identify issues and areas for improvement.
  • Provide project management support to the EMR Strategy & Policy team, including through assisting with organising long-term policy development and implementation projects, as well as providing day-to-day organisational support.
  • Develop internal and external relationships, including with Ofgem and DESNZ, and represent NESO at external meetings.
  • Develop and maintain an overall understanding of the policy, rules and regulations relating to the CM and CfD schemes.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly grasp issues and identify solutions, including those of a technical or operational nature.
  • Experience in regulation or policy or interest in developing it.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to successfully manage multiple activities to tight timescales and continually prioritise workload in uncertain environments.
  • Project management experience is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to engage with internal and external parties.
