Tasks

-Assist in incident investigations, including documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions -Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with workers and encouraging safe behaviors -Assist with environmental compliance activities, such as waste management, stormwater controls, and air quality requirements, as needed -Provide onboarding and orientation training for new employees and subcontractors -Monitor construction activities (e.g., scaffolding, excavation, crane operations, hot work) to ensure safe work practices are being followed -Support senior EHS staff in implementing site-specific safety programs and corrective action plans -Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements -Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, permits, and compliance documentation -Support the development and implementation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Safe Work Plans, and Toolbox Talks

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn safety management software -Key Competencies Strong attention to detail and situational awareness -Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities -Strong observational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams -0-2 years of experience in construction safety, EHS, or related field -OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) -Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, or related field -CPR/First Aid certification preferred -Basic knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards -Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
