Tasks
The position will report to the Manager – Site Construction, Offshore Wind. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of the T&I package. Close day to day interaction with other CVOW package managers, site construction team, and the Commissioning Manager. The candidate will be required to work with the T&I prime contractor to ensure the equipment transportation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities meet the Owner’s requirements. This position is for a Construction Project Manager to represent our client for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project. The CVOW project entails the construction and installation of 176 wind turbine generators and three offshore substations; as well as, associated cables and equipment 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

What You Bring
Are any certification required: PMP certification preferred but not required Experience in maritime construction, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments. Candidate must have construction experience as a project manager Ability to lead and manage multiple work fronts. Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) as required. 7+ years of project management experience in the field of construction, engineering, finance and/or management with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management Good knowledge of marine, mechanical, electrical, and controls system. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Proficient with interpreting technical drawings, documents & management reports. Schedule is the candidate required to work: 5x8, occasional weekend work may be required Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education May be required to work in an offshore environment. Other Education: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology 4+ of those years MUST be directly in a Construction or Maritime Project Manager Role Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas. -Preference for candidate with direct experience in the offshore wind world
