The Role
Overview
Drive sales and manage key accounts for paints & coatings in Tulsa or Wichita.

Tasks
-Independently prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions. -Deliver the agreed financial and non-financial targets in line with business budgets. -Create and execute Account/Customer plans aligned with Regional/Global Segment and Marketing plan, if applicable. -Provide support and leadership to sales, customer services and technical teams by showing vision, putting in resources to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency. -Develop and maintain contact map within each account – at all reporting level and across all functions. -Develop relevant Commercial pipeline for respective accounts. -Steward new business development projects opposite account requirements. -Drive innovation through customers . -Manage negotiations to mitigate claims. -Drive Continuous Improvement across the organization to generate value to customers – Forecast, Service, Capability, Efficiency and Productivity. -Collaborate with cross functional teams including relevant teams at the key accounts to prioritize new developments, make plans for trials, etc.

What You Bring
-Bachelor of Science in Business Management or related field. -Must possess commercial and business acumen as well as an understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve. -Effective project management skills. Must be able to manage stakeholders. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office. -Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to create value propositions. -Ability to travel 15%. Overnight travel may be required. -5 years’ experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management, or sales to strategic accounts in powder coatings, pre-treatment chemicals, coating equipment, or related business-to-business industry. -Effective problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results.
