The Role

Overview

Oversee construction site operations, crew, safety, and progress reporting.

Tasks

-Coordinates tasks according to priorities and plans. -Manages material deliveries. -Reports on progress to managers, engineers, etc. both in Word and ProCore. -Guarantees all safety precautions and quality standards are met. -Accountability of opening and closing the site daily. -May be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.) -Confirms schedules and monitors the attendance of crew. -Handles project take-off’s / in-depth knowledge of construction materials. -Resolves problems as they arise. -Supervises the use of machinery and equipment.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED required -Knowledge of governmental safety requirements is a plus. -Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, walk, stoop, kneel and climb. -Confirms tradespeople are accounted for and documented in ProCore. -Time management and time critical prioritization. -Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) up to 24 ft. -Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. -Knowledge of remodeling, reconstitution, restoration projects (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) -Must be able to operate a vehicle from one location to another. -Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. -3-5 years of related experience -Ability to operate technology equipment like smartphones & email software for day-to-day operations, communication, and monthly expense reports. -Typical outside work environment year-round(frequent standing, walking, lifting and/or operating powered equipment using proper safety techniques or tools), exposure to elements like rain, heat or cold. -Proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft. -Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis. -Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety. -Travel currently within St. Petersburg area only, but potentially throughout the US later on. -Professional communication skills (in writing and verbally).
