Design, review, and inspect mechanical and fire protection systems for Florida buildings.

Tasks
-Providing cross-functional support to ensure client needs and internal timelines/project activities are completed -Support junior technicians or entry level staff -Review Smoke control approaches -Maintain established utilization levels -Document and maintain well written reports on project related activities -Consult on project specific requirements and basis of design documents -Maintain detailed documents and progression of work from initial proposal through completion -Present project related technical information to clients and design teams -Attend in-house seminars and scheduled team meetings -Field verify life safety systems is installed as per the drawings and specifications -Occasional presentation of white papercase studies to in-house technical teams -Review HVAC design documentation including drawings, specifications, and controls sequences -Perform submittal reviews

What You Bring
-BS in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering is preferred -Licensed PE in the state of Florida is preferred but not required. -At least 5+ years of industry experience -Communicate effectively and establish relationships with clients and job-related management teams
