What You Bring
-Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information. -Must have ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters. -Minimum 4 years’ related professional experience obtaining environmental permits from various agencies. -A strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and specific Article VII requirements is important. -Understanding and the ability to manage compliance efforts during construction, including: SWPPP monitoring; vegetation management and restoration; rare, endangered and threatened species monitoring; invasive species management; and wetlands and waterbodies protection. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Proficient in computer software (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). -Bachelor's or graduate degree in a natural resources field, environmental science, or related field from an accredited program. -Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. -Understanding and the ability to manage an Article VII amendment, Article VIII Application, or Part 102 application from inception to restoration closeout. -Understanding and the ability to manage associated federal, state, and local permitting requirements associated with the overall effort.
