Tasks

The purpose of this role is to implement training initiatives to ensure maximum effectiveness of employees by successfully developing and monitoring training programs in addition to conducting various trainings surrounding railroad safety and regulatory guidelines pursuant to all Keolis rules, policy, federal regulation, and instruction. -Support and monitor operational practices to ensure quality service while ensuring a safe and productive workplace. -Assist with the design and development of curriculum to meet training needs. -Support in the development of the annual Training Plan for the Transportation Department. -Work with other team members to identify redundancies and efficiencies across departments. -Support regulatory compliance training for all transportation staff. -Assist in maintaining attendance, evaluations, and test records during training sessions. -Collaborate with team members to ensure the standards and expectations of all training programs are met. -Work collaboratively with the training team to develop the training department annual plan. -Provide written training documentation/reports upon request and as necessary. -Support in maintaining training database. -Schedule SME, equipment, and territorial venues for field training as necessary. -Administer, present, and instruct upon all Transportation training segments, material, and accountability relevant to Conductor in Training and/or New Hire Engineer certification programs. -Support training tracking through current database. -Assist in scheduling all required training. -Assist in the review and modification of training material as necessary to comply with all regulatory agencies. -Assist in the setup of classroom space, procure presentation equipment, and prepare course materials. -Assist in the design and publication of training overviews, scheduling of visiting instructors, SMEs, and topic authority.

What You Bring

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination. -Highly motivated and driven professional, able to manage multiple priority projects simultaneously. -Must have intermediate skills of MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Ability to travel through the Keolis Commuter Services network to facilitate training initiatives. -Minimum of 2 years similar experience in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment. -Demonstrated knowledge of convention of standard English grammar and usage when writing or presenting training materials or presentations. -Demonstrates understanding and adheres to the KCS principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Security, and Economic Performance -Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience required. -Demonstrated experience working in a railroad operation with success in implementing training plans, curriculums, and ability to lead a group to execute yearly training plans. -Proven ability to communicate successfully with a variety of disciplines and levels, both internal and external key stakeholders.
