Tasks

-Create drawings and specifications and perform construction administration services. -On-site survey, investigation, and documentation of existing conditions and electrical system malfunctions. -Preparation of materials related to presentations. -Review and research applicable building codes, NEC, and all other applicable industry standards, etc. -Assist the engineering team in the review of reports, plans and specifications. -Preparation of field notes and technical and investigative reports to support forensics findings.

What You Bring

-Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, meet deadlines, and travel to work sites as required. -2-5 years of relevant experience. -Ability to clearly express engineering opinions and conclusions, in writing, and support these conclusions/opinions with facts and sound engineering principles. -Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) Certification is desired. -Working knowledge of electrical power systems and building codes. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required. -Be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD programs (i.e. AutoCAD). Familiarity with any of the following programs is a plus, but not required: Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam.
