Tasks

-Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies. -Develop and maintain principal level relationships with assignedcustomers in a specific region while offering the customer unique perspectives. -Establish appropriate pricing levels utilizing the pricing/analytics department. -Assist credit and accounts payable to resolve disputed issues. -Participates in self-paced web-based trainings for sales and product training, including two 6 month NAED EPEC modules to build foundation of electrical distribution. -Consistently articulate the unique United Electric value proposition to customers with a focus on their purchasing values (Cost, Advantage, Risk, Easier). -Connect customers with all the resources available (Support Services, OnPoint Automation, Client Services, Product Groups). -Provide sales forecasts and updates as required. -Learn and effectively communicate United’s value proposition to our customers -Proactively follow up on all quotes with primary responsibility to closes orders. -Develop relationships with our manufacturers and engage them in our customers’ business. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed. -Develop relationships with vendors leverage for future sales calls. -Adhere to United Electric’s expense policies. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occurs or are witnessed. -Proactively assist Project Teams with job bids and any job-related problems throughout the entire process. -Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch. -Work closely with internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer. -Build upon relationships through customer entertainment and industry events. -May be required to operate powered industrial trucks. -Proactively support the company with all marketing, new products, training, and cost-saving programs. -Regularly attend sales and communications meetings as required. -Provide exceptional customer service, responding to all customer issues or problems in a timely and effective manner. -Subscribe to the Outside Sales Professional Program and document activities through the Customer Value Program. -Collaborate regularly with Inside Sales on all aspects of account management and assist when needed.

What You Bring

-Eligible for Commission -A high degree of interpersonal understanding. -Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. -Product Groups (Gear/Lighting/Pipe/Wire) ~3-6 Months -Experience in effective conflict resolution. -Inside Sales~ 3 months -Counter ~ 6 Months -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb. -Shadowing Outside Sales ~3 Months
