Tasks
-Engage in daily communication with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary team members to address project needs. -Balance multiple project priorities and deadlines with precision and organization. -Work closely with architects, engineers, and technicians from initial design phases to final construction documentation and field inspections. -Design HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of commercial, educational, and institutional facilities, emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainability. -Research and apply relevant codes, LEED principles, and best practices to designs.

What You Bring
-Creative problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently and within a team structure. -Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. -Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and scheduling and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for project design and Bluebeam for team communication. -Willingness to travel for local and regional projects as needed. -Project Management experience is a plus. -Highly organized, adaptable, and self-sufficient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. -Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. -Proficiency with load calculations software. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook for effective calendaring and communication. -Minimum 10 -15 years of experience in HVAC and fire protection design, including energy-efficient solutions for both new builds and retrofits. -Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personalities. -OHM Grad School -Experience in projects for commercial, educational, and institutional sectors.
