The Role
Overview
Lead civil engineering design/construction for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Prepares technical specification sections. -Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. -Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. -Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. -Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. -Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team -Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. -Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives. -Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. -Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. -Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others. -Provides input for the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

What You Bring
-Sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Licensed Professional Engineer in California or Washington -Civil 3D experience -Prior experience leading Site Civil/Land Development projects including site layout, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management plans, pavement jointing, and construction administration services. -Bluebeam experience -Communicates project tasks between offices – high level of coordination and communication skills required. -Experience mentoring or supervising other engineering professionals. -Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Prior experience leading Federal or State of California projects -10 year+ experience servicing as Engineer of Record on Projects -Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience.
