Maintain/repair mobile heavy‑duty gas compression & power equipment across Alberta/NWT
-Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required. -Responsible for the maintenance and overhaul work in the natural gas compression and EPG industry in the field. -Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs, maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments. -Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team. -Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
-Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience -CAT Dealer grade training -Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification -Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract -Journeyperson Certification in Mechanic, Electrician, Millwright and Automotive may also be considered -Power Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems -A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable -Willingness to participate and complete additional training
-Continuous shift: $3.50/hr -$50.68 - $55.10 / hour -Hourly premiums available -Paid breaks, vacation, sick and flex time -Premium Camp or Location Allowance -Boot and Tool Allowance -RRSP and retirement plan options -Overtime & double time hours available -Employee Share Purchase Plan Options -Field: $2.25/hr -Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement. -Continuous shift; extra 15 scheduled weeks off per year
