Asset Planner (Roads O&M)

Overview

Develop and manage asset plans, maintenance and budgeting for road infrastructure in Doha.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance activities and capital projects -Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management plans for road infrastructure -Analyze asset data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in road operations and maintenance -Utilize GIS and asset management systems to track and visualize asset information -Create and update asset registers, including condition assessments and performance metrics -Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to road asset management -Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to optimize asset lifecycle -Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset management processes and procedures -Prepare budget forecasts and long-term financial plans for asset maintenance and replacement

What You Bring

-Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices in asset management -Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite -Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset planning or a related field, preferably in roads operations and maintenance -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment -Knowledge of budget forecasting and financial planning for infrastructure assets -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field -Effective communication and interpersonal skills -Proficiency in asset management systems, GIS software, and data analysis tools -Strong organizational and time management abilities -Strong knowledge of roads infrastructure and asset lifecycle management -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
