Tasks

-Tracks, expedites, and ensures review and approval of all subcontractor submittals according to subcontract requirements -Prepares and submits necessary Change Order information to Client -Prepares and publishes required Project reports which may include daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports -Lead daily and weekly planning with crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders -Supports development of and ensures implementation of Project plans for HSE, Quality, overall execution, cost management, change management and other areas -Negotiates less complex Change Orders based on Company guidance -Coordinate mobilization, permitting, material flow, and equipment access -Seeks ways to mitigate risks to prevent negative impacts on the Company and Project -Enforces corporate safety policies and field-level job hazard procedures, inspections, and audits -Prepare budgets based on Project estimate and input into Company ERM software system -Schedules and host regular Project review meetings including Project Kickoff and Closeout Meetings -Prepares cost forecast for assigned Projects, develops plans for improving cost performance, and works with construction supervision to implement changes -Communicates with Client concerning changes in Contract scope or terms with goal to obtain appropriate Contract Change Order -Develop project execution strategies, including work phasing, resource planning, and field methodology -Monitor schedule performance and lead recovery planning where needed -Completes material purchase requisitions and ensures issue of applicable purchase orders in accordance with Company policy -Publishes meeting minutes for applicable meetings -Tracks defined Project risk conditions, cost and other impacts associated with defined Project risks -Ensures selection of qualified material suppliers -Supports Safety professionals as required at the project site -Recommends plan modifications to support better execution and compliance with Project requirements -Reads, reviews and understands Client Contract content and requirements with support from others as required -Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for the benefit of the Company and project within limits of authority

What You Bring

-PMP or CET, or equivalent certification, is preferred -Preferred experience managing construction projects with contract values of at least $2 million -Able and willing to provide a valid driver's license and an acceptable drivers abstract -Highly organized, dependable, and safety-oriented with meticulous attention to detail -Proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel, SAP, Primavera P6, and standard cost control or scheduling platforms -Able to inform others of Contract requirements -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Able and willing to travel as required and work extended/flexible hours if required to accommodate project/site hours of operation -Minimum five (5) years of leading construction projects in linear construction or electric transmission construction, is required -Bachelor level degree (B.S.) in Construction Management, an Engineering discipline related to the Company's work, or similar technical degree, is required
