Tasks
-Leading design delivery across both internal and external teams -Planning workloads to align with customer and project requirements -Setting and managing safety, commercial, and operational targets -Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key partners -Supporting, developing, and growing your design team to meet evolving project needs -Preparing detailed design programmes and cost forecasts -Taking ownership of the commercial performance of design projects -Monitoring progress against internal objectives and stakeholder expectations

What You Bring
-Knowledge of protection and control schemes for 11kV–132kV networks -Strong people-management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire -Bonus: experience working within an alliance or joint-venture environment -Experience leading teams within engineering, utilities, or distribution network environments -Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards -Confidence in design management and commercial decision-making -Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent professional experience) -Solid understanding of CDM Regulations and the responsibilities of the Designer
