Tasks

-Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc. -Research design options and document findings for project manager. -Conduct field inspections and surveys, investigate variables, obtain measurements, photographs, videos, and take notes; write reports documenting same. -Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same. -Perform engineering calculations and create estimates. -Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, using own judgement to make adaptations and modifications to existing designs. -Ensure designs are in accordance with company and client production and design standards. -Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design. -Research and apply code provisions to design. -Work with senior engineers to create project designs. -Assist Project Engineers and leaders as needed in the creation of designs.

-Attention to detail. -Ability to read, write, and understand English to comprehend written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -Strong Microsoft Office skills. -Strong written and oral communication skills. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college is required. -Engineer-in-Training preferred, valid driver’s license preferred. -0-2+ years of experience. -Utilize Autocad Civil 3D on a daily basis. -Proficiency in Civil 3D. -Land Development project experience. -Interest in Civil/Site Engineering projects; prior experience preferred but not required. -Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and WaterCAD.
