Tasks

-Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and gaps. -Develop business cases for new products and enhancements. -Ensure products comply with relevant safety standards, building codes, and accessibility regulations (e.g., ANSI/BHMA, ADA). -Partner with R&D to evaluate new technologies and materials for product innovation. -Act as the voice of the customer and product champion across departments. -Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service to support go-to-market strategies and training. -Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including design, development, launch, and post-launch support. -Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics. -Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automatic door systems. -Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product performance and reliability.

What You Bring

-5+ years of product management experience in manufacturing or building technologies. -Knowledge of IoT integration and smart building technologies. -Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). -Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. -Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. -Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, preferably in automatic doors or access control. -Moderate travel – 20-30% -Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. -Familiarity with ERP systems.
